The Resort opens earlier and closes later in the year than the Beach, depending on the weather. There is a campground and rustic cabin-type rooms that were built in the 1920s. A game room, coin-op launderette and barbeque area are open for the use of Resort guests.

Camping is on a first come, first served basis offering tent and a few RV sites.   Restroom facilities feature flush toilets and coin-op hot showers. A dump station is available and there are electrical outlets at some sites.  During the summer season, our office is open from 9 am to 10 pm. Please do not pull into sites or set up when the office is closed. Check out time for camping is 11 am and check in is after 11 am.  Friday and Saturday are usually the most crowded nights to camp.

All rooms are non smoking and have private bathrooms with showers, refrigerators and TVs. Some units include kitchenettes that are equipped with basic cookware. Linens, blankets and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Room reservations are usually by the week. Check out time is 11 am and check in is after 3 pm.

Johnson’s is a quiet family-type place. Please call for camping pricing and room rates/availability. Credit/debit cards are not accepted.

Dogs are not permitted in the rooms or campground
