The Beach offers canoes, single and double kayaks and pedal boats for rent ($30 day or $10 hour) as well as umbrellas ($6 day), low beach chairs ($5 day) and inner tubes ($5 day). Our inner tubes are for use at our beach site only. There is a snack bar on the beach and beer is for sale at the boathouse. Our prices are very reasonable!  A popular spot is the roped off  kiddies’ pool. A free boat launch is available during business hours. Credit/debit cards are not accepted. A driver license is used as the deposit for renting items. There is no charge to enter or to park.

WARNING: the Russian River is not a river for tubing or rafting!

There is very little current and people can get easily stranded. Safety is a very serious concern. The best way to travel on the River is by boat.

Johnson’s Beach is home to several special events through out the season. The Russian River Jazz and Blues Festival takes place in September. The Vineman organization holds triathlons in July.
